Ireland’s first dedicated Marine Innovation and Development Centre (MIDC) Nua Mara recently created an Industry-Innovation Matchmaking Programme to connect marine sector companies with researchers, technology developers, and problem-solvers worldwide.

The premise is simple: brilliant research exists, innovative solutions are out there, but too often the people who have them and the companies who need them never find each other. Nua Mara wants to change that.

They‘re looking for:

• Researchers with marine sector expertise

• Technology developers with innovative solutions

• AI specialists, engineers, or consultants

• Anyone with ideas and the drive to make a difference

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You might be working in a company, or independently. Teams may be formed through this process — the right collaboration could be the missing piece.
